Had opted for their Saigon tasting menu. I can understand why Anan received their top restaurant spot. Star dish for me was the steak, the cod was a close 2nd. Definitely a wonderful experience.

Nằm trong khu chợ Cũ, không có chổ đậu xe ô tô. Nhà hàng được vao top 50 nhà hàng Châu Á. Đến ăn phải book trước. Không gian nhà hàng hơi chật chội. Hương vị tuyệt vời khi kết hợp ẩm thực Việt Nam và quốc tế. Phở 100 đô thì mình không nói ngon hay dở mà mình thích kiểu thưởng thức như vậy.

Visited in Feb 2023 Anan Saigon is probably the most popular restaurant in Saigon due to its constant featuring in the Asia top 50/100 list for the past few years (the only Vietnam based restaurant to do so). Hence trying this place out was a no brainer. The food quality is really good and there wasn’t really a dish I didn’t like. Among the food items we ordered, I liked the Yellowfin tuna taco, the Wagyu Bo La Lot, Angus and the Shaking beef, and the crab fried rice. Service is decent. The restaurant is across 2-3 floors and we dined on the 2nd floor. The kitchen is on Level 1. Please make a reservation as the place can get quite full due to its popularity. Definite recommendation for people visiting HCM

No matter what else you order, do not miss the pho! The tacos were so-so, the fish was tasty, and the fish sauce ice cream was interesting, but the pho was out of this world amazing! Restaurant is more casual than one might expect, but pleasant with a good atmosphere. Staff is friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend making reservations.

It’s decent for a modern spin on Vietnamese cuisine. Would not recommend coming as a tourist, better off eating the true local food. Service was good and food comes out quick. Fish sauce ice cream was a fun an interesting concept.

We did the Sai Gon tasting menu. Everything was good and entertaining, except maybe for the desserts. But gosh, that banh nhung starter was perfect. We got so full, which was surprising. Worth every penny, and it was not even that expensive compared to other tasting menus in other countries.

This the best meal I’ve ever had in Vietnam - and I say that as a foodie having taken over a dozen Vietnam trips in the past 20 years. Anan Saigon’s 10 course tasting menu is nothing short of what you’d find at a Michelin starred restaurant (actually better that some of Europe’s one stars I’ve tried). The only difference? The price. $68 (USD) for their tasting menu translates into one of the greatest values for ‘fine dining’ you’ll find on the planet. I was blown away, course after course at the incredible flavors as well as the depth and breadth of Vietnamese cuisine that this menu covers. It’s not “authentic” Vietnamese food. Calling it “fusion” would be an insult. It’s more so French style meets Vietnamese classics. A tour de force of Viet cuisine. If you’re a foodie, and you’ve already tried the mind blowing street food of Saigon….and you’re looking for something a little fancy, definitely go here and do their tasting menu. Luckily, I was able to get a reservation same day by emailing them. Oh, and you’re welcome ;)

It's a nice restaurant situated in a ghetto alley with a bunch of street food. I was skeptical because they serve high end viet food. We started off with foist gras spring rolls. Can't go wrong with fois, the wrapper was crispy and had a thin layer of meat. 200k so like 10usd for 2 tiny pieces. I could eat 10 of them. Their banh xeo tacos was popular so we tried it. I love the taco, was really crispy. The crab fried rice wasn't bad, could have a little more seasoning but the fried mekong fish was good. They cut it up in chunks so it's easy to eat and every piece is crispy. The bone marrow wagyu pho wasn't bad. The bowl is small and they don't give you much meat and the broth wasn't hot enough. The flavors weren't bad though. Overall I was quite impressed.

This was my favorite spot to eat during my stay in Saigon. I went back twice. Outstanding, friendly staff who speak English. Good cocktails. Everything I ordered was delicious and beautifully presented. There were a variety of spaces with a great vibe and an upstairs roof. My only disappointment was that it wasn't open every day!

If you like Phở, I command you to try their special "100$ Phở". You might think it's a lot for a bowl of pho. But the experience is worth it without question. I've easily had more than 100 bowls of pho in many countries and this is still the number 1. Please give it a try if you're in Saigon.

Probably the greatest food I've eaten in Saigon. A bit pricey but definitely worth it. Will visit Ho Chi Minh again for this restaurant.
